Smart Bro(ken)
Smart Bro claims to be a revolutionary high-speed broadband internet service.
Well, it's revolutionary in the sense that it's trying to sell a product that simply does not work. I have used approximately a total of three P500 loads, or a total of P1500 but I probably got around a P500 worth only.
Smart Bro is always disconnecting by itself but with the meter still running. Sometimes within one minute of connection. Sometimes you get connected and meter starts running but no internet! Sometimes you cant even read one email because before you get to the inbox from your yahoo homepage, connection has been disconnected 5x.
On my first load, the meter ran out without me even knowing it. No, I did not leave it connected. Yun nga problema eh, it disconnects by itself. But the next time, I tried ubos na load.
After I forgot my sad experience with Smart Bro I reloaded and tried again. New load, old experience.
Since I invested several thousand already on the piece of useless of plastic, I tried for a third time after a few weeks.
It still did not work. Of course, I tried calling up Smart Bro customer care. All I can say is na match nila ang produkto nila sa pagiging inutil.
After the third time, I threw in the towel.
Smart Bro stole my P3800 + P1500!

I called *1888 last August 8 to report that I lost my internet connection. They determined that the problem was with my antenna and advised me that the earliest schedule that their technician can visit and check on my antenna was on August 20 (imagine, 12 days!!!!...that's what they call fast service). I left a note beside the computer with the username and password so that the technician can have access and check on my connection. Come August 20, the technician could not find my note. When I got home and found out that they were not able to fix my connection, I called *1888 and reported the matter. According to the Customer Service representative the technician tried to get in touch with me but could not contact me. I did not receive any missed call or text. Assuming that they could not have access to my computer, they could have just connected my antenna to their laptop and checked the connection. If they do not have a laptop with them, then that's what you call well-equipped. The CS rep said that the earliest schedule she could get was on August 31 (another 11 days of waiting). Yesterday, August 31, I received a text from the technician asking "saan kayo malapit?" I replied to his text only to find out when I got home that the technician never came. I again called their hotline and reported the matter and was informed that the technician could not find the address (wow, that what you call excellence!). I receive my bill every month, yet the technician could not find the address?????
Anyways, I was informed that the next scheduled visit would be on September 13. After losing my temper, the schedule was changed to September 6. So in the meantime, my internet connection is on and off, mostly off.
Will you still subscribe to Smartbro?....you guys decide.
