Beware of Globelines broadband
If you are looking for a fast, cheap internet connection, spare yourself and do not get the globelines broadband. I am a writer for a non-profit organization, and we have tried several internet providers, I'd say this is the worst internet provider that we had. Very slow internet connection, the landline that comes with the package at often times do not have a dial tone, and after the "Typhoon Frank", our modem was hit by lightning. After reporting it to the customer service hotline 7 times, up to now it has been 1 1/2 months and globelines still failed to act on our lack of internet connection. We are trying to immediately end our contract with them.
We moved office early this year, our previous internet provider was smartbro. we were satisfied with its services but we decided not to renew our contract with them. We tried globelines since they offer landline and internet service in one package, which fits with our aim to cut costs. Unfortunately, we did not get the quality services that we need. Instead of cutting costs, we are paying for an internet connection when we don't even have one for more than a month, and our staff have been renting in internet computer shops outside the office just to have access. even at the early months of subscription to globelines, we have noticed the very slow internet connection and we always have trouble with the dial tone of our landline.
So guys, be warned. Don't get globelines!

kailangan kc dyan mataas na antenna ..walang mga nakaharang na building ,puno para maganda ang reception ...
mabagal sila pareho ..nag di dipende lang sila sa lakas ng signal kc wireless nga po...
globe wimax po ang gamit ko ..minsan mabagal at minsan mabilis din..at dahil COMPUTER TECHNICIAN ako ginagawa ko ang lahat para bumilis...
ang 1 kung ginagawa try ko nagpalit ng ip address...eh di ang bilis hehehehe...try nyo din gamit kau ng ibat ibang ip address...

Their customer reps were useless.. they just created you a ticket and pass it along to their technicians .. WTF!!! they are incompetent, untrained, no use.................................................. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... bull crap

Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 12/29/2009 - 23:12.trulalu ka dyan pre! yung sa akin wala naman akong problema sa line, minsan lang nga tiis lang ako kasi minsan mabagal pero tanggap ko na yun. pero recently lang lumipat kami ng house, so syempre bago kami lumipat 1 week before tumawag na ako sa globe para maasikaso na kagad, tamang tama pag lipat namin makakabitan na ako ng line dun sa new address.
eh pero hanggang ngayon 2 weeks na mga paps ay wala pa rin. ang sabi sa akin ng globe 3 days lang daw. namfotang yan 2 weeks na eh wala pa din. kakasawa na mga customer service nila puro on process pa daw at tatawagan na lang daw kami sa binigay naming contact number. (yung binigay kong contact number ay smart, hindi kaya yun ang prob kaya hindi nila pina-prioritize? hehehe)
sa sobrang inis ko sa napaka-kupad na serbisyo nila sinabihan ko yung naka-usap ko sa customer service nila na kung hindi pa nila maaayos ay ipapa-cancel ko na lang yung ticket ko at magpapakabit na lang ako sa ibang service provider. tapos sabi sa akin na under lock-in period pa daw ako. kaya ayun! natahimik ako. pahiya ako hehehehe.

Submitted by Anonymous on Fri, 05/14/2010 - 15:57.Halatang taga Globe nagpost ng speedtest. He didn't post the whole page. Nakahost yung speedtest na iyan sa Globe server. I challenge him to post the whole page with test server he used. I'll post my Sun 2460 KBps download and 230 KBps upload. I'll also post my Smart Bro 450 KBps download and 150 KBps upload. And lastly I'll post my Globe 67 KBps download and 106 KBps upload. Globe Super gapang talaga, even dial-up using compression is faster. I went to Globe customer service because their call center people are the rejects from other call centers, almost as dumb as Bagaltel, I mean Bayantel but they couldn't do anything, the sim in the call center has higher priority that's why it's faster than the customer sim. Madaya talaga. I've been on Globe since 1995, their broadband sucks because a fellow named Gil Genio, thinks he's a genius and invested on the wrong hardware, maybe there were millions of reasons to do so? or a female? basta they invested in ZTE hardware. It really sucks, Kaya na freezer siya.

Submitted by Anonymous on Sat, 01/02/2010 - 20:50.Noong December last year lang nag complain ako sa globe na mabagal yung download speed ko. Our plan for globe is WimaXX 1mbps P1295 a month. First I go to speedtest.net to confirm my internet speed it came out na 0.45mbps which is lower than the normal speed which is 0.60 mbps that speed is said to me by the globelines technical team. They said that monitor this within 3 to 5 days LOL.... and after the days I waited its still no improvement. In my front neighbor their using WimaXX conection too and the same plan as ours and they got the real download speed which is 1.21mbps!!!!! look at my speed is 0.45!! lol. Can you provide me the best solution for this. I know their are people would help me with this thank you!

Submitted by jolli on Thu, 01/07/2010 - 12:10.kagagaling lang ng technical staff nila this morning, tang inang globe ok ang flow nya that time, sabi ko sa hapon nmn madalas ang problem nyan lagi naddc sabi nila i-screen shot ko daw tapos ipakita ko, sabi ko cge next time irerecord ko pa ng video. sabi ko baka naman madami na kaming subscriber sa lugar namin at hindi na kaya ng site nila, sabi nasa 100plus subscriber nga daw kami, sabi ko ako lang po ba nag kakaproblema sabi nila oo daw, would you believe that? sabi ko bat ang dami nagrereklamo sa internet bout there service, saka bat yung smartbro ko kaya ang six computers bihira pa masira pag may typhoon lang... at wala silang peak hours.. at kung may maintenance sila sandali lang... eh yung RESTORATION nila parang alibay na lang... sabi sken ng technician yung nagkakaproblem yung may mga line daw ng tel + broadband...

Submitted by Anonymous on Tue, 01/19/2010 - 13:39.globelines subcriber ako almost 1 year na kami gamit namin 2mbps mag upgrade na nga ako sa 5mbps to 6mbps if available sa area ko.. sinisiraan ninyo kasi ung mga companya eh ang pldt ok ba connection? mag facebook nga di pa ma load ang fishville ang smart naman hangang 384kpbs lang walang perfectong connection mga tol,..

Sa amin kasi hindi pa aba eh more than 2 months totally out sila nun and we're just in Mandaluyong. Satisfied ba kayo sa rebates nila?

Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 02/21/2010 - 13:51.para skin ok nmn ang connection ng globe.. mabilis nmn pero kpg nasira eh sobrang tagal nila bgo ausin.. pang 2 weeks ko ng walng net at napakadming beses ko na din 2mawag sa hotline nila ang plagi lng nila cnsbi eh restoration daw ng connection at still under going repair.. parang 3 days is enough nmn kung ang sbi nila skin eh 24 hrs daw gngwa ung sira sa area nmin.. pero ang abutin ng 2 weeks eh parang ang labo na.. and still paulit2 lng ang cnsbi ng mga operators nila.. kakasawa na.. kya ive been looking for a new net provider.. ok na skin ung sakto lng ang speed bsta ndi sirain... peace out

click niu ung WIMAX tab. dpat ung connect freq niu ay 2622000KHz. pag nde, ikot niu ung antennae niu hnapin niu un. pg hnda prin bhala kau s buhay niu.

but anyways kahit na ganyan sila hindi ko sila mumurahin

Submitted by Anonymous on Mon, 03/08/2010 - 15:11.Naloko rin kami ng Globe pina cut na namin sa costumer service nila yung connection namin kasi halos mag 11month na hinde parin namin magamit ng maayus yung internet nila, sabi sakin ng costumer service kukunin nalang nila yung aparato, and then after three months nagtataka lang ako hinde pa nila kinukuha yung aparatos, then tumawag yung globe samin may bill daw kaming umaabot ng P3,500 am hinde mo na nga napakinabangan yung serbisyo nila, na scam pa nila kami, ang dahilan daw dapat pmunta ako sa office nila, what the edi dapat nung una palang sinabihan nako ng deng costumer service nila!!!!!!!!!

Gusto ko na ipaputol kaso ang sabi mag babayad daw ako dahil d pa tapos ang kuntrata e tanga pala cla e bakit ako mag babayad PALPAK naman sirbisyo. Pag costomer ang pumalpak mag babayad daw pero cla ang dami palpak pero parang d naman cla nag babayad mga HAY???????????????????????????P
