Tragedy at sea, again

From the bakitsira.net team, we would like to extend our condolences to the families of the victims of the MV Princess of the Stars sea tragedy. We hope and pray that there will more survivors from the shipwreck.

The tragedy cannot solely be blamed on Typhoon Frank and for the disaster to have a closure, there must be a thorough investigation on who is really to blame.

We would also like to remind the community that this is not the first time a ship from the Sulpicio lines have been involved. In December 20, 1987, the MV Dona Paz, a passenger ship belonging to the Sulpicio lines, collided with the MT Vector, an oil tanker, killing more than 4,000 people.

Again, we hope the victims' survivors and their families will get justice in the end.
